iPad Threatens Portable Game Console

Demographic profile iPad owners revealed that iPad buyers are mostly men. Most of them buy Apple's tablet to play games.

This result is a survey of corporate marketing BlueKai contained in the category of 'the highest possible potential buyers iPad ". According to BlueKai, the highest professional iPad buyers are scientists or health workers, international tourists, and the owner aprtemen. The company also provides a record for a local businessman who frequently make a business trip, the couple and a degree candidate.

Infographic BlueKai created is based on data from other research companies, such as comScore says 45.9 percent of tablet use it at home, while 70 percent according to Nielsen iPad users use it in front of the TV.

The emergence of IOS game could also explain the fact that the owner of iPad is likely to buy a gaming console tool.

Reported by Apple Insider, a new study found that IOS and Android now controls 58 percent of portable game market in the U.S., up from 19 percent in 2009 and 34 percent in 2010.

When combined with the Apple TV, iPad could even pose a threat to gaming consoles, a new feature in IOS Airplay Mirroring 5 allows for the use of wireless wide-screen multiplayer games. Game giant Nintendo feel the effects of the shift to mobile gaming.
