Kodak to Sell Site Share Photos

Eastman Kodak reported a potential buyer is looking for the Kodak Gallery online photo-sharing site property.

Reported the Wall Street Journal and cited Chexosnews, Sunday (20/11/2011), Kodak now aggressively approaching other photo sharing sites, including the competitors, retailers and private equity firms are interested in buying the site.

Reportedly, this imaging technology company trying to collect hundreds of millions of dollars to fund its business operations. But Kodak himself refused to comment on this report.

Kodak Gallery, Kodak has been owned for 10 years. The site was originally called Ofoto Kodak bought in June 2001 for less than $ 100 million.

This site allows users to store their digital photos online and print it for personal purposes such as business cards, calendars and other items for free.

Some of the last quarter, this site is steadily declining number of users and visitors. This condition is increasingly difficult for Kodak to find prospective buyers who are interested in these sites.
